Los Angeles-based artist and costume designer Cathy Cooper leads a fashionable virtual workshop! Inspired by Cooper’s current exhibition, Dramatis Personae, and Parisian miniature couture collections, participants will explore the world of couture miniatures and create their own handmade tiny fashions using basic garment construction, hand sewing, drapery, and hand- finishing techniques.

Registered participants will receive a custom material kit which will include hand sewing needles, embroidery thread, fabric swatches, wooden mannequin doll figure, and notions. Participants are encouraged to source inspiring fibers and fabrics from their own collections to use in their creations. Material kits will be available for pick-up at Craft Contemporary.
